Bradley Takes Home CL Batting Title

The 1984 baseball season has come to a close. And what a year it has been for Park City's Ken Bradley. He finished off an all-star caliber year with the Colonial League batting title. He topped all comers with a .335 batting average and registered 16 home runs and 57 RBIs in 86 games.

Navigators Ace Wins Triple Crown

Few men in baseball history have won the pitching triple crown. William McKinney of the Newport Navigators joined this elite company today when the season ended, officially making him the league leader in ERA, K's and wins.
McKinney put up a 15-4 record, an ERA of 2.11 and 189 strikeouts this season. He started 26 times, walked 34 and held opposing clubs to a .212 average.
McKinney is the odds-on favorite to capture the Outstanding Pitcher Award this year.

Star CF Signs Pact with Senators

A throng of media gathered as Harry Cooper announced that he had come to terms with the Senators and that he would be sticking around town another 7 years. Cooper is set to draw $106,400,000 in pay over that time.
This year Cooper is batting .251 with 94 hits, 10 home runs, 40 RBIs, 69 walks, .374 OBP and has scored 64 runs.
