Recovery Slow For Patriots William McKinney
Friday, August 30th, 1991
Just when it looked like William McKinney would soon return to the Park City (C) Patriots, the starting pitcher suffered yet another setback in his recovery from rotator cuff tendinitis. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when McKinney experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be disabled for at least 2 weeks.

In the current season in 26 starts, William McKinney has a record of 10-6 with 129 strikeouts in 162 innings and a 2.89 ERA.
