Kingston to Lose Austin for 4-5 Months
Thursday, June 7th, 1990
Chris Austin could soon be placed on the disabled list. The Kingston starting pitcher told reporters that he expects to be "out of commission" for 4-5 months because of bone chips in his elbow. He hasn't played since 06/06/1990 and, he said, he's "itchin' to get back out there."

To date this year in 13 starts, Austin has crafted a 4-5 mark with a 3.56 ERA.
