Portsmouth second baseman John Leonard has suffered a setback in his recovery from a strained hamstring. According to Clippers officials, he will be disabled another 3 weeks. "Doctors are concerned with the rate of healing and have decided that Leonard will need additional time in rehab before he will be cleared to play," one team spokesman explained to reporters.

Thus far this year Leonard has hit .234 with 1 home run and 14 RBIs.
