Setback For Gladiators and Cody Powers Saturday, September 23rd, 1995 Mount Sterling Gladiators shortstop Cody Powers got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding as well as they hoped to treatment and that he would be need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Powers to be ready to go within 6 days. He told BNN, "I didn't expect a sprained wrist to take this long to heal." This season Powers has hit at a .243 clip and produced 55 runs batted in, 11 home runs and 61 runs. |
