Ward Hears from Medical Staff Thursday, August 24th, 1995 Since 08/22/1995, when he suffered an elbow sprain, Bob Ward has been waiting. Waiting to hear how badly he injured himself during that day's game. Today word came down from the doctors that the Kingston left fielder would miss 3 weeks. "It could have been better", said Ward, "but it also could have been much worse." Ward is batting .242 with 13 home runs and 45 RBIs this season. |
