Wiggins Picked CL Player of the Week Monday, August 21st, 1995 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Colonial League, but last week Jeremy Wiggins of the Liberty (C) Giants reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Wiggins rocked opposing pitching for a .875 average (7-8), 1 home run and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Wiggins is batting .245 with 2 home runs. |
