Bray Shines in Gem Saturday, August 19th, 1995 "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," the Mount Sterling skipper said after Dan Bray shut out the Fremont Tigers 6-0 on a 4-hit masterpiece. Bray registered 13 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in a gem of a performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well...or he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said the Fremont manager after the defeat. In 26 starts this season, Bray has recorded 12 wins and absorbed 9 losses. He has pitched 186.2 innings, allowed 129 hits, struck out 206 and has a 2.27 ERA. |
