3-Homer Hat Trick for Coffman Tuesday, July 18th, 1995 Some days you can't have it all. Jason Coffman discovered that when he cracked three homers at Pioneer Park during today's game against the Capital City Senators and lost. "I have mixed emotions about this game," he said. "It's great to hit three homers, but it's hard to be happy when you lose the game." The Irondale first baseman went on to describe his big day in his postgame interview. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them." He got his name in the league record book, but the Senators walked away with a 7-6 triumph. Coffman finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 3 RBIs.
