3-Homer Hat Trick for Coffman

Some days you can't have it all. Jason Coffman discovered that when he cracked three homers at Pioneer Park during today's game against the Capital City Senators and lost.
"I have mixed emotions about this game," he said. "It's great to hit three homers, but it's hard to be happy when you lose the game."
The Irondale first baseman went on to describe his big day in his postgame interview. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them."
He got his name in the league record book, but the Senators walked away with a 7-6 triumph. Coffman finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 3 RBIs.
Jason Coffman hit a solo-shot off Wayne Hixon in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Wayne Hixon in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off John Miranda in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
A look at his current stats shows Coffman with a .284 average, 24 home runs, 57 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has played in 85 games.
