Lewis Out 11 Months
Sunday, July 18th, 1993
The latest news from the Capital City Senators clubhouse is this: starting pitcher Bob Lewis is expected to be out of action for another 11 months. He has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament, sustained on 07/16/1993. Lewis expressed a bit of relief. "At least now I know," he said.

Lewis has a 4-9 season record so far. In 20 starts, he has fanned 64 batters in 111 innings with a 4.38 ERA.
