Giants Howard Suffers Injury Friday, September 11th, 1992 Disappointing news today for Liberty (C) Giants fans. Pat Howard was hurt throwing the ball in their game against the Portsmouth Clippers and has biceps tendinitis. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the right fielder out at least 4-5 weeks. This year Howard is batting .306 with 21 home runs. |
