Top Colonial League Newcomer Named Tuesday, September 1st, 1992 Lee Morán's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Park City (C) catcher has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In August he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .290 with 7 doubles, no triples and 4 home runs. Morán also scored 14 times and drove in 11 runs. In the current season, Morán has put up a .241 batting average with 99 hits, 10 home runs, 45 runs batted in and scored 47 runs. |
