CL Awards Player of the Week Monday, August 10th, 1992 Jason Coffman of Irondale was a smashing success this week, winning the Player of the Week Award in the Colonial League. He hit everything the pitchers threw at him, hammering them for a .364 batting average, going 8 for 22 with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and scoring 8 times. This season Coffman is batting .325 with 124 hits, 28 home runs, 77 RBIs, .428 OBP and has scored 79 runs. |
