FL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Saturday, August 1st, 1992 A veritable toddler to the Federal League, Pat Hoover just sewed up the Rookie of the Month trophy for July. Over the past month the 22-year-old catcher for Park City (F) hit .274 with 20 hits, 4 home runs and 12 RBI. He also logged 8 walks and compiled a .354 on-base percentage. Currently Hoover is batting .249 with 16 home runs and 44 RBIs. |
