Lions, Senators Make Trade
Wednesday, July 29th, 1992
According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Kingston Lions and the Capital City Senators. As part of the deal, the Lions swapped 31-year-old catcher Sergio Ortega and 21-year-old catcher Quentin Wood to the Senators getting 32-year-old starting pitcher Bob Cole in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team.

This season Ortega is batting .192 with 10 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 4 times and has 9 runs batted in.

To this point in the season Cole has no wins and 4 losses and a 9.87 ERA.
