FL Awards Player of the Week Monday, June 15th, 1992 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Federal League, but last week Jason Wood of the Centerville Cyclones reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Wood rocked opposing pitching for a .364 average (8-22), 3 home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Wood has 11 home runs and a .276 batting average. |
