Thompson Out 11 Months Thursday, May 21st, 1992 Emory Thompson could soon be placed on the disabled list. The Fremont starting pitcher told reporters that he expects to be "out of commission" for 11 months because of a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. He hasn't played since 05/20/1992 and, he said, he's "itchin' to get back out there." Season-to-date Thompson has rung up 1 win and 3 losses in 9 appearances. He has an ERA of 3.10 and has fanned 30 batters in 49.1 innings. |
