Paris Shuts out Fremont
Saturday, May 16th, 1992
Rob Paris had the Fremont Tigers dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 4-0 shutout performance for the Liberty (C) Giants. He gave up 4 hits, issued 3 walks and had 4 strikeouts.

Fremont hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery.

The opposing manager said, "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point. We just never figured him out."

This year Paris has earned 1 save, worked 34.2 innings, fanned 22 hitters and recorded a 1.30 ERA. He has also put up a 2-2 won-lost mark.
