CL Player of the Week Selected Monday, September 9th, 1991 Reid Lee had a week for the ages as he romped to the Colonial League Player of the Week Award. The happy-go-lucky 35-year-old still plays ball like a kid, mashing and slashing as he goes. The Portsmouth Clippers left fielder hit .370 last week as he chalked up 10 hits in 27 at-bats, 5 home runs, 13 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Lee is batting .286 with 106 hits and 24 home runs. He has scored 67 times and has 97 runs batted in. |
