Liberty (C) Fires Manager, Sims Will Be Replaced Wednesday, August 14th, 1991 You have to win to keep your job. Such is the way of professional sports. These thoughts had to be going through Liberty (C) fans' heads today upon hearing their manager Daniel Sims had been let go. The Giants simply hadn't performed up to expectations since bringing Sims aboard. No successor has yet been named, though the Liberty (C) GM assured the media a shortlist of candidates had been compiled and was being acted upon. He said the Liberty (C) Giants would have a new manager within a week. |
