Steelers Hill Snags CL Player of the Week
Monday, August 5th, 1991
It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. John Hill, the Irondale Steelers 25-year-old second baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Colonial League Player of the Week honors.

He ripped 13 hits in 27 at-bats, compiling a .481 average with 1 home run and 3 RBIs.

This year Hill has hit at a .295 clip with 132 hits, 16 home runs, 63 RBIs and 78 runs scored.
