Senators, Giants Confirm Swap Tuesday, July 30th, 1991 After a week of negotiations, the Senators and Giants have come to terms on a deal that will send 29-year-old reliever Walt McGhee to Liberty (C) for 19-year-old shortstop Curtis Hawkins. So far this season McGhee has picked up 2 saves in 60 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 1-5 won-lost mark with a 4.56 ERA and fanned 42 batters in 53.1 innings. |
