Hit Parade: Blackwell Gets Cycle
Wednesday, June 19th, 1991
It was his day, but the Kingston Lions overcame a cycle by Neil Blackwell in a 11-10 victory over the Liberty (F) Knights at Kraft Stadium today.

"It feels good for me, but it would have felt even better if we had won that ballgame," Blackwell told the press corps. "I still enjoy it, but I would've liked to win the ballgame, too."

He cracked 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Although his team lost, the Knights left fielder will still get his place in the record books.

Blackwell is currently batting .287 with 6 home runs and 30 RBIs.
