Portsmouth starter Edward Davis tamed the Mount Sterling Gladiators 4-0 with a 4-hit shutout, finishing the game with 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in a sharp outing. "I enjoy facing a team like that where I can get an out on one, two or three pitches," Davis said. "It gives me a chance to be a lot more aggressive." In 18 starts this season Davis has recorded a 5-13 record and a 5.92 ERA. |
