Schultz Out 12 Months Monday, August 28th, 1989 David Schultz could soon be placed on the disabled list. The Portsmouth starting pitcher told reporters that he expects to be "out of commission" for 12 months because of a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. He hasn't played since 08/24/1989 and, he said, he's "itchin' to get back out there." So far this season Schultz has a 3-6 record with a 4.81 ERA. |
