Bailey Learns More about Injury Thursday, August 24th, 1989 John Bailey will have to wait a while longer. The Park City second baseman was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 5 weeks with back spasms. The injury has kept him off the field since 08/20/1989. Though Bailey had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." Presently Bailey is batting .252 with 5 home runs and 31 RBIs. He has played in 86 games and scored 53 times. |
