Harris Receives Updated Diagnosis Wednesday, August 23rd, 1989 The medical report is in: the injury that has kept Mount Sterling second baseman Norbert Harris out of action since 08/19/1989 will sideline him for another 4-5 weeks. The 23-year-old Harris, who has a bruised kneecap, said he heals quickly. "I'll be back soon," he said, "and I'll pick up where I left off. " For the season Harris is currently batting .288 with 15 home runs and 84 RBIs. In 119 games he has reached base at a .349 rate and scored 56 runs to date. |
