Injury Takes Toll, William McKinney Out Friday, August 18th, 1989 William McKinney had to leave the Patriots game against Irondale after suffering a strained biceps while throwing the ball. He will be out of the lineup at least 5 weeks. He told reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong." This year McKinney has compiled a 13-5 mark with a 2.36 ERA in 27 starts. |
