CL Player of the Week Chosen Monday, August 14th, 1989 The Colonial League presented its Player of the Week Award to Capital City Senators third baseman Joseph Parker. "His numbers speak for themselves," a club publicist said. "He's been really seeing the ball well." Indeed, Parker has. Last week he went 13 for 23, batted .565 with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. So far this year Parker is batting .336 with 19 home runs, 77 RBIs and 67 runs scored. |
