MacIntosh Sets New Single-Season Hit Record

Tim MacIntosh of the Portsmouth Clippers is an amazing hit machine. Today he passed the legendary Mike Pryor with his 164th hit, establishing a new league single-season mark. MacIntosh commenting on what his new record means to him, he said, "It means I helped my team win a lot of games this year. That's the important thing."

Tim MacIntosh grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
