Dorsey Earns June's Top Batter Prize in CL Saturday, July 1st, 1989 Gunnar Dorsey let his bat do the talking in June and the Colonial League heard him loud and clear. He made plenty of noise as he put together a .322 batting average and was named the top hitter of the month. Dorsey's month to remember saw him accumulate 28 hits, 9 home runs, 23 RBI, 19 runs, 8 walks and a .385 on-base percentage. This year Dorsey is batting .298 with 13 home runs and 46 RBIs.
