Terry Makes History with Home Run Saturday, August 27th, 1988 Eddie Terry hits them high and deep. His home run today at Arcadia Journal Ballpark broke the single-season record set by Dave Bartlett. For Terry, the Capital City Senators' center fielder, it was home run number 39 for the season. He received a loud ovation from the crowd for the achievement. Eddie Terry flied out in the 1st and homered off Ray Reese in the 3rd. For the year Terry is batting .310 with 146 hits and 39 home runs. He has scored 98 times and driven in 93. |
