Coffman Tops CL with .345 Average Saturday, August 8th, 1987 It's official: Jason Coffman has landed the coveted Colonial League batting title for 1987. The Irondale first baseman outpaced the competition with a .345 batting average. In all, Coffman tallied 158 hits, including 33 doubles, 1 triple and 26 home runs. He also scored 71 times and knocked in 65 runs. |
