Lewis Blisters Liberty Thursday, July 23rd, 1987 26-year-old Portsmouth shortstop Rick Lewis had a big day with the bat at M&M's Field today against the Liberty Giants. He went 5-for-5 and led the Clippers to a 11-6 triumph over them. Rick Lewis hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. On the year Lewis is hitting .221 with 19 hits, no home runs, 7 RBIs, .244 OBP and has scored 10 runs. |
