Irondale's Wilson Diagnosis Revealed Tuesday, July 21st, 1987 Since 07/20/1987, when he suffered a torn labrum, Danny Wilson has been waiting. Waiting to hear how badly he injured himself during that day's game. Today word came down from the doctors that the Irondale right fielder would miss 4-5 months. "It could have been better", said Wilson, "but it also could have been much worse." So far this season Wilson is batting .259 with 10 home runs, 39 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has 79 hits in 305 at-bats, 43 walks and a .352 OBP. Wilson has played in 75 games. |
