Injury Setback for Senators Reyes Tuesday, July 31st, 1984 Capital City Senators reliever Armando Reyes is not healing as well as expected as he recovers from a torn meniscus and will miss an additional 3-4 weeks as a result. Reyes had been working with the team medical staff, but was taken to a specialist as a precaution. Examination revealed more damage than originally thought.
This year Reyes has chalked up a 3.89 ERA with no saves. In 26 relief appearances he has put up a 0-1 won-lost mark and struck out 48 batters in 37 innings.
