Carlson Set to Miss 4 Weeks Sunday, June 17th, 1984 Jon Carlson will have to wait a while longer. The Park City center fielder was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 4 weeks with a separated shoulder. The injury has kept him off the field since 06/15/1984. Though Carlson had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." So far this year Carlson is batting .296 with 10 home runs, 40 RBIs and 48 runs scored. |
