Great Week for Liberty's Henry Fields Monday, June 4th, 1984 A battle-tested Henry Fields declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old Liberty second baseman collected the Colonial League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .417 average, 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Fields is batting .240 with 19 RBIs, 28 runs scored and 6 home runs. |
