5-6 Day for Fields Saturday, August 7th, 1982 Henry Fields had an answer for everything the Portsmouth Clippers threw him today in the Park City 7-3 triumph at Arcadia Journal Ballpark. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Park City shortstop went 5 for 6 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Fields said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Henry Fields singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Looking at his stats this year, Fields has compiled a .283 batting average, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 37 runs. He has played in 95 games and scored 36 runs. |
