McKinney Gets CL #1 Pitcher Trophy Sunday, August 1st, 1982 This month the Colonial League spotlight fell on pitcher William McKinney of the Newport Navigators. What a July he had! A fine 5-0 won-lost record, 1.05 ERA, 6 starts, 42.2 innings pitched and 47 strikeouts -- good enough to get him the CL Pitcher of the Month. So far this year McKinney has compiled a 13-3 record with a 2.64 ERA. |
