So far in his young career, Guillermo Reyes has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Colonial League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 24-year-old Capital City Senators first baseman hit at a torrid .519 clip as he collected 14 hits in 27 at-bats, 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
This year Reyes is hitting .264, produced 75 RBIs and 22 home runs, scored 51 times and gotten on base at a .310 rate.
