The hard-working and hard-playing Steven Carney was rewarded with the Colonial League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Portsmouth Clippers third baseman hit .333 while collecting 10 hits in 30 at-bats, 5 home runs and 11 RBIs. This season Carney has hit 11 home runs and posted a .250 batting average. |
