Colonial League Names Rookie of Month Tuesday, June 1st, 1982 Danny Wilson earned May's Rookie of the Month honors in the Colonial League for last month's performance. The boyish Irondale right fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Wilson hit .313 with 1 home run, 13 RBIs and 15 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. So far this year Wilson has 3 home runs and a .254 batting average. |
