Park City, Irondale Agree to Swap Monday, July 6th, 1981 The Park City Patriots swapped 28-year-old left fielder Wesley Bennett for 28-year-old reliever Vincent Mathis and 19-year-old center fielder Alberto Zambrano of the Steelers after what Irondale officials would only characterize as "difficult" negotiations. So far this season Bennett has 8 home runs and a .293 batting average. |
