Knights Defeat Giants Tuesday, September 29th, 1998 "Anticipatin' celebratin'" was the Liberty (F) clubhouse slogan for the World Series this year -- and celebrate they did, when they beat the Liberty (C) Giants 4-2 in the series. The Knights won the deciding game today 10-2 at Kraft Stadium for their 1st Continental Baseball League crown. During the 1998 regular season, they registered a 95-49 mark and finished first in the Division race. |
