Injury Worsens, Return Delayed For Cyclones Mukunda Sunday, September 6th, 1998 The Centerville Cyclones announced today that Chattradhara Mukunda will miss an additional 2-3 weeks after the starting pitcher suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from a strained oblique. While the setback is believed to be minor, the Cyclones want Mukunda to take his time and fully recover before coming back. Mukunda has made 20 starts, tossed 117.2 innings, struck out 105 batters and walked 29. His record is 8-8 with a 4.51 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .261 batting average. |
