Harrington Sticks it to FL Pitchers Monday, August 24th, 1998 Bill Harrington of the Fremont Tigers cruised to Federal League Player of the Week honors after putting together one of the finest stretches in his career last week. The third baseman batted .417 (10-24) with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Harrington is hitting .280 with 22 home runs and 64 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .376 clip and scored 61 runs. |
