The injury that has kept George Washington out of action since 07/26/1998 will keep him out a while longer. Kingston Lions officials made the announcement this afternoon. They said that Washington is expected to miss at least 4-5 months with shoulder inflammation.

For the season Washington has made 43 relief appearances, recorded no saves, compiled a 1-2 won-lost mark and a 3.31 ERA. In pitching 49 innings, he has totaled 40 strikeouts and 18 walks.
