Medical Diagnosis Updated on Guzmán Friday, July 24th, 1998 Javier Guzmán will have to wait a while longer. The Mount Sterling left fielder was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 4-5 months with a broken kneecap. The injury has kept him off the field since 07/21/1998. Though Guzmán had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." For the year Guzmán is batting .247 with 11 home runs, 40 RBIs and 45 runs scored. |
