Fremont, Kingston Trade Made Thursday, July 9th, 1998 It won't turn either team into an instant contender or provide a huge franchise shakeup, but the Fremont Tigers and Kingston Lions finalized a trade today. Fremont will send 38-year-old right fielder Pat Howard and 24-year-old reliever Gerald Renfro to the Lions, while the Tigers will receive 26-year-old starting pitcher Manuel González.
